There was divergence on CCI and RSI.

Trade #2 - Collapsing Stochastics Entry

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Trend is down.  Price is in lower Bollinger Band.

Moving Averages are nice and wide.

Stochastic Threads collapse.

Resulting candle is  Doji - ITM. (just!)

Divergence on RSI Dots but CCI on the floor gave me confidence.

Be careful of slowing Williams - risky!

Trade #3 - Sudden Death Setup Entry
Comments
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Sudden Death Setup is trading against the trend.

Need to be very careful to identify the correct conditions:

Price is in the upper Bollinger Band - indicates the trend is long (up).

Moving Averages are wide apart (trend is strong and long).

Good Setup:

I really liked the shape of the stochastics (turning down and flowing evenly)

with the Magenta Williams overheated at the previous candle with Blue Williams
drifting sideways.

KEY was the overheated CCI in conjunction with the above setup.

Resulting candle was nicely ITM.

Score: 9/10

Trade #4 - Collapsing  Market Entry
Comments
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Price is in the upper Bollinger Band - indicates the trend is long (up)
but Moving Averages are collapsing with yellow moving into blue (trend is weakening).

I really liked the way the RSI Red Dots tilted down ever so slightly coupled with
the Magenta Williams overheated at the previous candle with Blue Williams
slowing down.

Stochastics have turned down.

KEY was the relatively overheated CCI in conjunction with the above setup.

Resulting candle was nicely ITM.

Trade #5 - Collapsing  RSI Entry
Comments
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Price is in the upper Bollinger Band - indicates the trend is long (up)
with Moving Averages wide (trend is strong).

This is a contra trend entry - risky when you don't have experience in recognising these
entry types!

Market has been running up for several candles and now Stochastics have turned down.

KEY is RSI Red Dot has crossed below the fence AND CCI is showing weakness.

BUT Magenta Williams overheated!  I really should have taken note of this.

Resulting candle was a Doji - OTM (just!)

Score: 6/10

Price is in the upper Bollinger Band - indicates the trend is long (up)
but Moving Averages are down showing short bias.  Next stop is typically middle Bollinger Band..

I liked the way the Magenta Williams overheated at the previous candle with both Williams
crossing through the CCI. I like the shape of the CCI at this point.

Stochastics have turned down and wide showing lack of direction.

Resulting candle was pin bar and just  ITM.

Price is in the upper Bollinger Band - indicates the trend is long (up)
but Moving Averages are down.

I really liked the way the Magenta Williams made a strong pull against the direction of the Stochastics
with the RSI Red Dot and Blue Williams both remaining below the fence.

Stochastics remain down.

Resulting candle was nicely ITM.

Score: 8/10

That's all for today.

Trading Journal - ShaunR Empty Tuesday 20th June

Tue Jun 20, 2017 9:29 am
Today I will focus on trading the following setups exclusively:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I call these "Roll Over" Entries and I have highlighted two examples above that I called while eating breakfast this morning.  The setup conditions for this type of entry are quite straightforward:

1. Price moves in a strong trend for several candles prior to the entry signal.  Moving averages are wide open indicating a strong trend.
2. Price then breaks the outer Bollinger Band as an extreme OR price shows DIVERGENCE against the indicators.  (In the above examples the first trade signal happened after an extreme Bollinger Band break while the second signal occurred after big divergence with the Stochastics and Williams.)
3. At the signal point - Stochastics must turn in opposite direction to trend AND Red Dot AND CCI AND both Williams cross to the other side of the fence AND both Williams must NOT overheat.

If all above are correct, take the entry in direction of Red Dot.

I will add this trade setup to the Advanced Traders Section too.

I will report my trades here today.

Thanks
Shaun

Due to the workload yesterday, I did not see any of these particular setups in the brief time I had while watching the charts.

I will continue to trade these setups today.

Thanks

Trade 1 - Roll Over Entry Setup

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Really liked the way CCI kept overheating on the floor prior to entry with divergence (part off screenshot to left) of price versus Red Dots.

Entry signal was solid, both Williams moved up together with CCI and none overheated.  Stochastics had all turned up nicely.

Resulting candle was nicely ITM.

Trade 2 - Roll Over Entry Setup

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

All the conditions for a valid entry were met.  I was a little concerned by the extent of the Williams/CCI pull but the shape of the Stochastics looked very good and so took the trade.

Resulting candle was a pin but still ended nicely ITM.

Trading Journal - ShaunR Empty Re: Trading Journal - ShaunR

Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:09 pm
So Wednesday's trading resulted in 2 wins from 2 entries.

I was unable to trade yesterday (Thursday).

Have taken some time away from work to trade this morning.  I have added an Awesome Oscillator to the template (bottom indicator window) and this is to provide clear divergence signals.  Using divergence as part of the body of evidence for a valid trade is very powerful.  I'll show trades from today where this helped me decide to take specific entries.

Here are my results:

Trade 1 and 2:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Trade 1 - loss.  NO real setup signal - I was not ready to trade here.

Trade 2 - win.  Much better.  Stochastics had reached the roof and had started to fold over and move down.  Signal was when CCI crossed below fence (showing bearish bias) and Magenta Williams made a pull back for entry short (Put).

Trade 3 and 4

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Trade 3 - Sudden Death Entry - Win.

Liked the way Stochastics started to flow down with CCI overheating against the roof.  Both Williams fell away showing a weakness of the long move.

Trade 4 - Roll Over Entry - Win.

Divergence between Awesome Oscillator and price.  Gave me the confidence to take the trade.  CCI and Red Dot below the fence with Stochastics flowing down.

Trades 5,6, 7 and 8

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Trade 5 - Collapsing Market Entry.  Win.  Divergence between Awesome Oscillator and price.  Liked the way Stochastics started to flow down.  Red Dot moved below the fence with both Williams down but not overheated.  CCI slowed down.

Trade 6 - Roll Over Entry.  Win.   Divergence between Awesome Oscillator and price.  Liked the way Stochastics started to flow down.  Red Dot moved below the fence with both Williams down but not overheated.

Trade 7 - Williams Pull Back Entry.  Loss.
I made one big error - Red Dots were FLAT - don't do it!

Trade 8 - Collapsing Market Entry.  Win.  Key here was CCI overheated.  Liked the look of the Stochastics and Red Dot position below fence was good.  Both Williams down but not overheated.

Trade 9

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Williams Pull Back Entry - Aborted - Break Even.

I got this one wrong.  Red Dot was above the fence and I tried to go short (Put).  I then closed early to get my money back before market moved against my position.

Mon Jun 26, 2017 8:27 am
So we start a new trading week. I will continue to focus on roll over entries and will record my trades here.

Remember, quality is way better than quantity when selecting entries. Try to keep your trades to less than 10 per session.

It has been a long day and I have not had a chance to sit and trade, until now.

Here is my first trade of the day:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Roll Over Setup Entry.

Clear divergence between price and Awesome Oscillator.
Stochastics had a very nice shape and were turning down.
Neither CCI nor Williams was overheated at entry point.

Trade ended ITM.

Dear Shaun,

You have a very nice journal here, it has really helped me to learn this system. A system which truly works and produces the necessary edge for successful binary option trading.
I am still to master it and trade with it properly but truly it is easy to follow.
Even with my trading style it is profitable where I am working on to be more patient and slow down a bit.
Now days you are so busy, I miss to chat with you. Hope there will be time soon when we can chat.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to create this journal and sharing with us!

Have a nice second half of the week ahead.

Best regards,
Gihon
