Can a trading robot improve your trading?

For the starters I only write a few word here and will continue from there.
Let's call this one a;

FOREWORDS on robots

(You will know I like talking about the points...)

I think 90% of the robots (EA's) soled on the market are good for the trashcan. Scams are plenty in the topic and not so easy to find one which is really reliable.
I also believe the future will change this big time and the robots are coming, improving and keep on conquering more and more territories of our lives either we like it or not. Better to follow up on the topic.

So what if there was a robot not to trade for you but guide you in your trading?

I had my own IT company for 5 years so I have some clue...
The better is a trading robot the more expensive it is and you can guess what kind of robot an Institution might use for trading and how much would it cost if you wanted to buy that...
With time people like us will also get hands on better and better robots or we shall build our own.

I think a semi-automated system which alerts you when practicing given strategy step by step will surely improve your trading.
You can miss to see a setup and not take the entry the computer (assuming the EA was designed professionally) will not miss.
When you take an entry and computer sees that, you might be given a rating and success ratio of your decisions with full analyzes.
Computer can tell you then how you should have been trading...

Can a trading robot improve your trading? [Part 2]

While I am digging deeper and deeper into this subject and building the project block by block I am going through a very interesting experience, which I share with you now. It had a very big and positive impact on my trading which I did not think it would do.

Once we look around and start thinking of automating our trading strategy we shall have several choices as in which program language we desire to use, what environment we shall try creating an auto-trader in.

Quick note: pls believe me it is very hard to code a auto-trader which can actually run 24/7, trade for you, make profit and never fail. It is possible to build such auto-trader but should you decide to purchase one you can not know what are you buying until you test it on live account! (I am just saying the truth point blank.)
So 1st you pay for it only to experiment and 2nd you might conclude this wasn't the one while staring at the screen which shows you account balance = 0.23$... 

In our case I do highlight the point when you seat down and thinking through your trading strategy since that is the heart of the auto-trader all the other staffs are additional. Regardless which program language or environment or tool will you use
you need to go through your strategy step by step and find a way to translate it into a program. 
When you are doing this you shall run back-tests and while it is a software simulating your trading on historical data you shall get a clear test result with all the details you would not bother preparing for yourself. 
Clearly laying before you what your strategy can do and what it can not do. All the strong point and drawbacks. 
Actually you spend more time working on your strategy then the actual coding...
See?
You get data on your strategy which otherwise you would not see nor understand, so even if you shall never code the auto-trader eventually when you next seat down to trade you know clearly how to use your strategy. This experience greatly improves your trading and cuts down on the learning curve not mentioning the lost trades till you figure it out...

So, this is another point how can a trading robot improve your trading.
